Long-horned beetle [Eng/Esp]

Sometimes finding unusual insects in my backyard is a challenge. Obviously, there are many common ones, such as caterpillars, bees, and butterflies, but there are beetles that I have rarely seen. Today, I want to share some photos with you. I hope you enjoy them.

A veces encontrar insectos distintos en el patio de mi casa es un reto, evidentemente suele haber muchos comunes, algunas orugas, algunas abejas llegan a visitar, mariposas también, pero hay escarabajos que en pocas ocasiones he visto y el día de hoy quiero compartir algunas fotos con ustedes, espero que las disfruten.

This is a beetle whose scientific name is Trachyderes politus. It is a beetle with very long antennae and a very interesting appearance. When seen on plants such as those in these photos, it certainly looks impressive and very striking thanks to its antennae.

Este es un escarabajo cuyo nombre científico es Trachyderes politus. Es un escarabajo con unas antenas muy largas y tiene un aspecto muy interesante que, cuando se ve en las plantas como en las de estas fotos, sin duda se ve imponente y muy llamativo gracias a sus antenas.

When developing these photographs, I had to balance the photo a little, as I used my camera's flash even though I took the photos during the day. I did this to get better detail of the beetle, and I definitely think I succeeded. I reduced the intensity of the plants to give the beetle more prominence.

Para el revelado de estas fotografías tuve que equilibrar un poco la foto, ya que utilicé el flash de mi cámara a pesar de que hice las fotografías de día, pero esto lo hice para conseguir un mejor detalle del escarabajo y sin duda creo que lo logré. Disminuí la intensidad de las plantas para darle más protagonismo al escarabajo.
