Folk dance [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy start to the week, dear friends of the community and photography lovers. I hope you are all doing great today. Last week, I went out to do a photo shoot with my friend Mariale, who was graduating, and afterwards I attended an event at the Carmelo Fernández Museum. Here are some photos.

Feliz inicio de semana para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía, espero que todos se encuentren genial el día de hoy. La semana pasada había salido para hacer una sesión de fotos a mi amiga Mariale, quien se graduaba, y al terminar asistí a un evento en el Museo Carmelo Fernández. Aquí les comparto algunas fotografías.

My main plan was to attend an art exhibition, some new rooms that were going to be inaugurated, but before that there were some short talks, some dance performances, acknowledgments, and thanks to the staff there for completing 43 years of work at the museum, and I took some photographs while this was happening.

Mi plan principal era asistir a una exhibición de arte, unas nuevas salas que serían inauguradas, pero antes de ello hubo unas pequeñas charlas, algunas exhibiciones de baile, reconocimientos y agradecimientos también al personal de allí por cumplir 43 años de labor en el museo y yo me dediqué a hacer algunas fotografías mientras esto sucedía.

I'm not a good dancer—in fact, I would say I can't dance at all—but I always find it interesting to watch people dance. The ease, skill, and calmness with which they move their bodies to the rhythm of the music is undoubtedly an art form, which I really enjoyed capturing in these photographs.

Yo no soy un buen bailador, incluso podría asegurar que no bailo para nada, pero siempre se me hace interesante ver a personas hacerlo, la soltura, la habilidad y la tranquilidad con la que saben dirigir sus cuerpos al ritmo de la música sin duda también es todo un arte, el cual me gustó mucho capturar en estas fotografías.
