An observant lizard [Eng/Esp]

Happy day to all, dear friends of the community and photography lovers, how are you today? For me, it has been a fairly quiet day. Lately, there has been intermittent rain, which is honestly welcome, as it had been very hot. Due to these rains, there are times when certain animals hide or come out, depending on the moment. On this occasion, while looking at my backyard, I noticed this little lizard. I quickly went to get my camera, thinking it would leave before I could take a picture, but it stayed still. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Feliz día para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía, ¿cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Para mí ha sido un día bastante tranquilo, últimamente estos días han sido de lluvia intermitente, lo cual honestamente viene bien, ya que había estado haciendo mucho calor. Debido a estas lluvias hay ocasiones en que ciertos animales se esconden o salen, dependiendo del momento y en esta ocasión mientras veía el patio de mi casa me percaté de esta pequeña lagartija, fui a buscar rápido mi cámara, pensé que se iría antes de hacerle alguna foto, pero se estuvo quieta, espero que disfruten de las fotografías.

For obvious reasons, I couldn't take as many different angles as I would have liked, and I couldn't even get that close. I stood a wall away so that the lizard wouldn't feel so intimidated. At first, it saw me, and I knew that if I made a sudden movement, it would run away as fast as possible, so I tried to move the camera as slowly as possible. Obviously, I had to zoom in when taking the photo and crop it a little when developing it so that the details of its skin could be seen better.

Por obvias razones, no pude hacer tantos diferentes ángulos como me hubiese gustado, incluso no pude acercarme tanto. Estaba con una pared de distancia para que no se sintiera tan intimidada la lagartija. Al principio me veía y en mi pensamiento sabía que si hacía un movimiento brusco se iría corriendo lo más rápido posible, por lo que intenté acercar la cámara lo más lento posible, evidentemente tuve que hacer Zoom tanto al momento de hacer la foto, como al momento del revelado recortar un poco para que se vieran mejor los detalles de su piel.

I took these photographs outdoors, obviously, and the sun helped me in a way, but some of the photos were overexposed, so I had to recover those areas during development. That's the important thing about shooting in raw format: being able to recover what you need. As for the colors, I just kept what I already had, adjusted the contrast a little, and added some detail. I'm very intense about that last aspect; I love it when the quality of the details is appreciated.

Estas fotografías las hice en exterior, obviamente, el sol me ayudó de cierta manera, pero me había quemado algunas de las fotos, por lo cual en el revelado tuve que recuperar esas zonas. Eso es lo importante de hacer las fotografías en raw, poder recuperar aquello que necesitas. En cuanto a los colores, solo mantuve lo que ya tenía, ajusté un poco el contraste y agregué un poco de detalle. Soy muy intenso con ese último aspecto, me encanta que se aprecie la calidad en cuanto a los detalles.

Esto ha sido todo por el día de hoy, son pocas fotografías porque no tuve tanta oportunidad de variar más allá de algunos movimientos de su cabeza, donde seguro estaba pensando por dónde alejarse. Espero que disfrutaran de ellas, muchas gracias por pasarse un día más por aquí. ¡Feliz día para todos!
