A police dog outdoors [Eng/Esp]

It’s always nice when you go out and come across a little dog along the way. This time, there was one near the skatepark where the kids were skating, and since I was pretty close by, I took some pictures of it, which are the ones I want to share with you today. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Siempre es lindo cuando sales y te encuentras con algún perrito en el camino, en esta ocasión había uno cerca del skatepark donde patinaban los chicos y como yo estaba bastante cerca, me dediqué a hacerle algunas fotografías que son las que les quiero compartir el día de hoy y que espero que disfruten tanto como yo.

If I saw this dog for the first time, I’d say he looked really intimidating, and he certainly was. Plus, he was barking constantly because he wanted some attention, but once you got close, he was quite friendly; you could pet him without fear, and he’d just stay by your side without any issues. Plus, since he’s a police dog, he’s clearly trained and knows what he’s doing, as long as you don’t have any bad intentions, he has no reason to do anything to you, and he proved that with every person who approached him.

Yo si viese a este perro por primera vez diría que es muy intimidante y ciertamente lo era, además que estaba ladrando a cada momento porque quería algo de atención, pero una vez que te acercabas era bastante amable, podías hacerle caricias sin miedo y este solo estaría al lado sin problemas, además, como es un perro policía, claramente está entrenado y sabe lo que hace, mientras no tengas malas intenciones él no tiene por qué hacerte algo y lo demostró con cada persona a la que se le acercaba.

At first I was a little scared, but when I saw that he was friendlier than he looked, I felt comfortable taking more pictures of him. He was wandering from one spot to another within the limits of his chain, he was tied up so he could get some fresh air, and since the police station was nearby, there wasn’t any problem. It’s definitely nice when dogs are allowed that moment of freedom and don’t spend all their time locked up, because obviously they end up getting stressed out.

Yo al principio si tuve un poco de miedo, pero cuando vi que era más amable de lo que su apariencia mostraba, me permití hacerle más fotografías, estuvo yendo de un lugar a otro en la distancia que su cadena le permitía, ya que estaba amarrado para que tuviera un poco de aire libre y como cerca estaba la comandancia de la policía no había ningún problema. Sin duda es lindo cuando permiten que los perros tengan ese momento de libertad y no pasen todo el tiempo encerrado, porque evidentemente se terminan estresando.
