A day to break out of the routine and breathe fresh air [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, dear friends in the community. It's been a while since I've been here, as I've been spending a lot of time working at home and obviously wasn't doing anything interesting enough to share with the community. But today I decided to go out, get some fresh air, take some pictures, enjoy the afternoon a little, walk, have a drink, and get out of my routine, so welcome to a new post, which I hope you enjoy.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I've been quite busy with work. I have gone out, but also for work-related reasons. However, today I wanted to take a break. It had been quite a while since I had gone out to take photographs on the street, which is one of the things I enjoy most. Trying to capture the spontaneity of the streets is often a challenge. You don't know what you're going to photograph, but that's the most fun part.

Saludos, queridos amigos de la comunidad, hace un tiempo que no pasaba por aquí, ya que he estado pasando bastante tiempo trabajando en casa y evidentemente no hacía algo tan interesante que considerara que valía la pena de compartir en la comunidad, pero hoy he decidido salir, tomar un poco de aire fresco, hacer algunas fotografías, disfrutar un poco de la tarde, caminar, tomarme algo y salir un poco de la rutina, por lo que sean bienvenidos a una nueva publicación la cual espero que disfruten.

Como bien les decía al principio, he estado bastante ocupado con trabajo, sí he salido, pero por cosas de trabajo también, pero hoy quise tomarme un descanso, hacía ya bastante tiempo que no salía a hacer fotografías en la calle, es una de las cosas que más disfruto, intentar capturar la espontaneidad de las calles muchas veces resulta como un reto, no sabes qué vas a fotografiar, pero esa es la parte más divertida.

After getting everything I needed ready, I headed to a specific spot, a busy avenue with lots of traffic and pedestrians. But a few minutes before arriving, I made a quick stop to buy some candy. I have a habit of carrying some with me, mostly mint, but this time I bought some lemon too. Once I got there, I started taking pictures. People were walking from one place to another, and they were my main models. Some noticed that I was taking pictures and signaled for me to take some of them, while others didn't even notice I was there.

Since I didn't want to stay in one place, I decided to walk around. I went to a square where many people usually gather, sat down, admired some statues, focused on taking pictures of some birds that were there, rested a bit, and then decided to continue on my way, exploring a little more.

Luego de alistar todo lo que necesitaba, me dirigí a un punto en específico, una avenida bastante transitada tanto por diferentes vehículos, como por las personas que van caminando por allí, pero minutos antes de llegar, hice una pequeña parada para comprar algunos caramelos, tengo cierta manía de llevar algunos, en su mayoría de menta, pero en esta ocasión compré algunos de limón también. Una vez en el lugar me puse a hacer las fotos, las personas caminaban de un lugar a otro y eran mis modelos principales. Algunos notaban que estaba haciendo fotos y me hacían señas para que les hiciera alguna y otros ni notaban que estaba allí.

Como no quería quedarme en un único sitio decidí caminar, estuve en una plaza donde muchas personas suelen reunirse, me senté, aprecié algunas estatuas, me centré en hacer fotos a algunos pájaros que se encontraban por allí, descansé un poco y luego decidí seguir con mi camino explorando un poco más.

When you live in such a small place, walking doesn't seem so tiring, so I decided to go to different places. I found myself in another square, where I took some photographs of the sky, the streets, and some murals that decorated certain streets. Urban art is one of the most beautiful things you can appreciate, of course, when it's really made to capture something, although art is quite subjective. But I think you'll agree with me that there are murals that can have a big impact when they represent a culture or tell a story.

Considering that I had already taken many photographs, I decided to go to a place where they sell fruit smoothies. I love this place, I had already told you about a meeting I had had there, but this time I went alone, I ordered an apple smoothie, which, although it may seem silly, tasted exactly like apple, which made it a very tasty smoothie and, in a way, also very refreshing, considering how sunny it was.

Cuando vives en un lugar tan pequeño el caminar no parece tan agotador, por lo que decidí ir a distintos lugares, me ubiqué en otra plaza, donde hice algunas fotografías del cielo, las calles y algunos murales que decoraban ciertas calles. El arte urbano es una de las cosas más bonitas que se pueden apreciar, claro, cuando estas son hechas realmente para plasmar algo, aunque el arte es algo bastante subjetivo, pero creo que estarán de acuerdo conmigo de que hay murales que pueden marcar mucho cuando es algo que representa una cultura o cuenta una historia.

Al considerar que ya había hecho muchas fotografías, decidí ir a un local donde venden batidos de frutas, soy un amante de este lugar, ya les había compartido alguna reunión que había tenido allí, pero en esta oportunidad fui solo, me pedí un batido de manzana, lo cual aunque parezca una tontería, sabía exactamente a manzana, lo cual lo hizo un batido muy sabroso y de cierta forma también muy refrescante, teniendo en cuenta la gran cantidad de sol que había.

And that's how my day went from being just another monotonous one to breaking out of the routine, having fun doing what I like, walking a little, breathing some fresh air, and not focusing all my attention on work. I know it's important to fulfill our responsibilities, but it's also good to remember that not everything revolves around that. We also have to take time to enjoy life, even if it's in the small details like enjoying a milkshake, watching the sunset, taking some pictures, or simply sitting in a park for a long time. That's what life is all about: living.

Y así es como mi día pasó de ser uno más monótono, a salir de la rutina, divertirme haciendo lo que me gusta, caminar un poco, respirar algo de aire y no centrar toda mi atención en el trabajo, sé que es importante cumplir con nuestras responsabilidades, pero también es bueno recordar que no todo gira entorno a ello, también nosotros tenemos que tomar un tiempo para disfrutar de la vida, así sea en los pequeños detalles como disfrutar de un batido, ver el atardecer, hacer algunas fotografías o simplemente sentarte en una plaza por un largo rato, la vida se trata de eso, vivir.
