Monomad: True Amphibians
(Edited)
True amphibian is perhaps the most appropriate title for this fish. In Sumatra, this fish is called Tembakul (genus periophthalmus) and lives in mangrove swamps. Tembakul has the ability to live in two places, namely land and water. The ability to live on land exceeds that of other amphibians because it is able to walk for a long time on land, especially on mud.
This animal has prominent blue eyes. The color of his blue eyes is in direct proportion to his skin, which is gray, almost like mud. Apart from that, it is also known as a fish that lives on land. Tembakul usually dig holes in the mud which in fact is land. Here I will show some of my pictures, as well as the nature around the mangrove swamp where Tembakul lives.
