Walk through the City Roads of Mumbai
Yesterday being the last day in the city, I wanted to go around some of my favorite places. It has been a 3-week hectic short stay in Mumbai and it's time to go back to Muscat. As much as I would wish to stay back, I have to go back. Anyways the up down keeps continuing for me for the next 2 more years and then hopefully I will permanently settle back home in Mumbai.
Familiar roads always make you feel comfortable and that's what happens to me. This time when I was here, I was very surprised at the first look of the road outside my society. It has never been so glamorous and shiny. In the month of January there was a G20 summit and for that a lot of places in the city had some special lightings. This particular road goes to the side where there are government offices, so it is always well maintained. The street lamps had spiral lights and the trees on the way had green and golden lighting effects. It was looking very nice.
This one is my favorite book store. Crossword, thankfully there are many people still who believe in hard cover books and like to read and because of people like us, these book shops still exist.
This particular road is comparatively always empty and you can see there is no special lighting here.
My shoe shop. The place where I always buy my footwear from. I do buy from other places also, but only when I do not find here what I am looking for.
This is a Paan Shop, one of the oldest in the city. Has been here even before I was born. Paan is like a digestive made from Betel leaf with some fillings in it. I love to have it, but there are 2 types of paan, one has the betel nut and Catechu and some other things used in it, this is hard, but the other one is made of sweet things, like coconut and cherries. This is the one that I love to have.
On the way there are many street vendors selling different type of things. One of them selling these balloons. With times they also upgrade and sell fancy things.
Getting back home again after the walk
Probably next time when I come back, I may not see these special lights so it's going to be a good memory for me. Right now, I am waiting at the Airport to board my flight. I will see you all tomorrow back again from Muscat. Good bye until then.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

Hello mam
No doubt Mumbai City is very beautiful. The clean up and lighting has been made for the preparation of G20. I hope this cleanness stay there for ever. I have seen many places in India are full of dirt specially the big cities have more of it spread over the road side. It is pain staking.I have no Idea of present Mumbai but in Kolkata, the situation is very bad.
Mam, I hope you when you sattle back here in Mumbai, crypto regulation becomes more lucid and miner friendly.😄😄
The main roads are well maintained but there are many parts of the city which are very messy. Ideally the whole of city should be clean. I am lucky to live in the better parts but at the same time cannot ignore the other side of the city also.
I too hope that it gets better with the regulations :-)
