Around 2 months back when my sister and her daughters were here in Muscat, we made this visit to the Aquarium. The Aquarium is newly opened up just little over a year ago. I had not had the chance to visit the Aquarium. I knew that whenever I would have anyone coming to visit me, I will be taking them so it was on hold. The outer glimpse of the Aquarium is very attractive. There is a Starbucks and behind it is the big glass which gives a glimpse of the place.
In the month of November falls the Oman National day, during this time there are many offers across outlets. They also had come up with an offer of flat 50% discount on the tickets and the promotion was on till end of December. I got a good deal on our tickets.

The variety of sea life species was good. I had mixed review of this place, so I did not know what to expect. I had kept my expectations very low, but to my surprise it was a worth visit place, especially for children. The setup has been made very nicely with a lot of lightings.

Honestly, I am very poor at the names of marine life, so whichever I liked I clicked pictures of those.

Some parts are made in a very natural way, that it does not look like an Aquarium and it gives a more natural feel.

The best part of the Aquarium was these Penguins. They had a feeding show of them, and they so cutely came out and stood in a line for their name to be called and to be fed.

It was so much fun for my nieces, they visited an Aquarium for the first time so it was all very fascinating for them. While it was all fun it was very educative as well.
