I am a late riser so I barely get to see the sunrise. I wake up by 7 to 7.30 so by that time the sun is already up. I know that's not a very good habit and I have been trying hard to be an early riser, but it does not happen. My problem is that I also sleep late. If I change this habit, then I will be able to rise up also early. All of these little habits do make a lot of difference in the general lifestyle. They are the good practices of life.

Today I had an early morning since I had to travel back to Muscat and had a morning flight. And the good part was that I also got to see the sunrise. In the city the sunrise is never so great since there are so many tall buildings that the whole sunrise view gets blocked. Yet, it's always feels good to see the first rays of the sun and then the sun coming up, you can feel the fresh and new energy seeing it rise. One of the best sunrises I have seen is on one of the night flights when I was travelling. It was so very spectacular to see the hues on the horizon and then the rays coming up and filling up the whole of the horizon. That was a beauty to watch. In the city you will never be able to see such things.

The building where you see the Sun is one of meditation centers of the city and that's an Aum symbol which lights up at night.

So many tall structures block the clear view. The thing is that once the sun comes at a certain height then it becomes extremely bright and it loses the softness. While it's rising it's soft and heartwarming. You can see it comfortably, once it's up then it hurts the eye.

It's a cloudy day

It's nothing so special about this sunrise except for the good feeling that I got to see it and as I mentioned I do not see a Sunrise very often so feels nice to get this captured. Life is also just like this, not every day is a special day but we can make it special by looking at the little simple things of life and enjoying those moments, finding out joy in it and making them special.
