Pamukkale is one of those wonderous places which one should not miss if travelling to Turkey. Rather lot of people come to visit only this place. It was one of my wish list destination also since a long time. I had seen this place in one of the movies a long time back and since then it was my wish to visit Pamukkale, also called as Travertine wonders and one of Turkey's natural marvel, and some call it cotton castle also. All of these names are apt for the place. Such wonderful breathtaking views it has to offer taking us through time and nature, this white paradise is truly unique and a marvel. I have never seen a place like this before so I was mesmerized. It all felt so unreal to me.
It is the center of natural thermal springs water and it's said that the water has healing properties. As such all hot water springs have healing properties, because they are rich in minerals and because of the heat they generate. It's absorbed through the skin and over a period of time one sees the benefits. One or two times will not make any difference though. It has to be a long time use to get the benefits.
At this particular site, water is rich in calcium bicarbonate due to which over the years the travertines have formed, giving it a very cotton candy effect. Seen from above this place gives a magnificent sight.
As much as it looks beautiful from the outside, going inside is not that easy. It's very slippery in some places and in some parts the feet will heart because of the pointed stones inside. You cannot wear any footwear to avoid damaging the formations. The water is not hot in all of the parts, if you are nearer to the source from the where the water is flowing it is nice and warm, but as you move away from that point the water gets cold, and if the overall temperature is low then the water also gets freezing at some points. The day we visited it was cold and raining, but then there was no other choice but to get inside and experience.

One could see the steamy mists coming from the source of the spring water, I wonder what is it like to take a sip of this hot water first thing in the morning.

Wow this is so natural and a beautiful place to visit, you are just lucky touring round the world, this is very good visiting places to see things yourself and as well feel it, just like the warm, hot and cold part the water it sounds like magic but you are just there life to witness everything, another interesting part is that it contains healing properties, am loving this part more at least people with infirmities can go there for healing just like that of the Holy bible
