Al Hamra is a small place on top of the mountain. There are very few accommodations in this place. There are 2 hotels with limited stay capacity and that goes almost full. Other than that people normally come here for camping. They set up tents do barbeque, spend their evenings and then late-night drive down again. I have never stayed in a tent till date. It's not that I do not like to, but it's never happened. I have gone on day capming trips but overnight camping I have never done.

This particular mountain is called the Hatt mountain. From the villages at the foothills, it takes around half an hour to come to the top, so it's convenient for local people to come any time and just in half an hour the whole temperature changes. The temperature here is always 10 to 12 degrees less then down. In summer it's a good escape location from the scorching heat.
