Concluding the 2 days Ganesha Festival
Last 2 days have been such a joyous time in celebrations, prayers and performing rituals of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. My heart says that it should continue for more days but my body does not support so ideally, I do this festival for 2 days only and end it, else I can continue doing it for 10 days also. Last night we performed the rituals and ended the grand celebrations. In these 2 days I must have had almost 80 to 90 people visiting my home and then I have to also make arrangements to serve them some refreshments. Thankfully my cook had agreed to stay with me for these 2 days and help me out. She was a big helping hand and without her it would have been a very tough job for me to do all of this.
I am so happy that all the ceremonies and rituals went very well and everyone who visited was also very happy to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The whole atmosphere in my home was high and energetic. Last evening while concluding the ceremony my friends danced and we had an amazing time. It was such a joyous moment; everyone was happy high in the celebrations. I felt like all my 7 Chakras were vibrating at their peak and there was some kind of magic just not in the environment but within me also.
The one thing I do not like much in all of this is the excess of sweets consumption. Everyone who comes brings some sweets as a good gesture and I cannot say No also to them, since they want to offer it in the prayers. I tell them to take it back but not everyone takes it back and then I land up with piles of sweet boxes. This time I made it a point to keep distributing it to everyone when they left. I suggested that they can take it to their offices and distribute there, which kind of the idea worked well and thankfully I could give away all the sweet boxes.
Sharing some pictures from our 2 days celebrations.
This was last evening after all the rituals. It may look like too much of a mess, but then there is no control when so many people visit and give offerings.

Me and hubby doing the Puja

Feels good

It is a challenge for hubby to sit down, but I forced him to for the picture and we all had a hearty laugh over it :-)

After everyone was gone, just my close set of people stayed back to do the final rituals.

Loads and loads of pictures I clicked of him

Snacks arrangements made for the guests on day 1, on day 2 the menu was different.

Everyone is dancing in joy

The sendoff times

Feeling happy and sad. Happy because everything has gone so well and sad because it's all ending

Wait for 1 more year to bring him back home again

The 2 days just flew by, now today I feel exhausted and so sleepy. Morning, I woke up late and then got busy in cleaning up the space. Everything is back in order and cleaned up and now I am going to rest for the next couple of days. Thankfully it's the weekend coming up so there will not be much to do.
Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

I would love to attend once a Ganesha festival. In the Yoga school I attend and teach we also meditate with Ganesha sphere of force and it's much much powerful
That's nice to hear. Ganesha festival is celebrated almost in every Indian household in every part of the world.
The atmosphere was definitely high and energetic, these are the places we often feel the causeless joy of life and be free from the 'heaviness' of the world. Great spiritual recharge that will last a long time :)
It was a super charge for me these 2 days and after that I felt the exhaustion :-) All went very good with the good blessings
The picture itself tell the joy story.
The spiritual activities gives peace to mind and also give energy to our lives.
Total bliss and joy to the mind and soul
I'm very happy that you enjoyed every bit of the ritual and it seem that you were very happy when doing the Puja
Nice pictures!
Very happy and blissful moments
so interesting... I need to read more about this day and thus symbol because I haven't got its meaning completely. But all people are happy and glad, so it's a great holiday to celebrate.
80 people coming to your house??? wow!! I can't imagine it;) are they all your friends?
Lord Ganesha has a story my dear. I will send it to you
Here in Muscat no family so it's all friends and neighbours. Yes it's crazy, my network is growing...hehe.
The thing is that everyone you know wants to come for blessings, so there is no control to the number of people coming to visit
This is a very love moments, keep these beautiful moments with you and enjoy life. I pray to God 😇 to always be happy in life.
Some wonderful moments
