A Wall with messages of Love and Peace
I have a lot to share from my last month visit to Mumbai and I am trying to do it slowly gradually, since there are so many picture edits that need to be done, it's taking me some time. There is so much already happening right now also like last week's festival and with all of that my travel posts have got delayed.
This is a place called Mehrabad that I visited, it's a spiritual retreat. Mehrabad is a home to tomb of famous spiritual saint Meher Baba. The place is also named after his own name. There are 2 places in the town, Mehrabad and Meherazad. Mehrabad is the place where the Tomb lies and Meherazad is the place where Meher Baba lived. Both these places have very peaceful location and surroundings. They spread across acres of land, where this spiritual retreat is there.
Meher Baba all is life spread messages of Love and Peace. He gave up speaking at one stage of his life and from there on till his death which was 44 years he never spoke. Most of his communication was through eye-contact and hand signs.
I am not a very staunch believer of Meher Baba but I do have some faith in him and I love some of his preaching. This Wall says Welcome to my World. The whole wall is covered with Tiles with messages of love that he spread in his lifetime to people. It's a beautiful wall and just looking at it also feels so positive. You feel love all around you. It's such a wonderful dedication to this Saint.
You will see here; all the messages are so soothing to the eyes and heart.
Through these pictures, music, nature, emotions, feelings, religion everything is expressed. He had quit on speaking so this was his language.
This little girl has always been my favorite. I don't know why but I am always attracted to her. She speaks some language that my resonates with my heart.
Always a delight to visit these places and soak up in the energy that it spreads.

If I am not wrong the place is near to the Ahmednagar.
I was in Ahmednagar for almost 3 weeks and here about the place form locals but unfortunately not bale to visit.
But I do visited the Ajanta and Elorra caves which were almost 3 hour drive form Ahmednagar.
You are right, this is in Ahmednagar. I had made a visit last month to visit the shrine. Such a serene place it is.
Visiting Ajanta & Ellora is also on my list, sadly till date I have not been there.
Next time if you visit do not miss it.
