Hoy les traigo un maquillaje bastante bonito, sencillo para mí y que puede usarse en eventos de noche o en alguna reunión que pueda ser semiformal, es en tonos rosados oscuros con negro y delineador. I've been quite absent from the community and I really wanted to get back to makeup and learning, which never stops when you're doing something like this, which for me is an art. Today I bring you a pretty makeup look that is simple for me and can be worn to evening events or semi-formal gatherings. It features dark pink tones with black and eyeliner. Comenzamos manteniendo nuestro rostro muy limpio, lavandolo con el jabón de nuestra preferencia y secandolo con delicadeza. La primera parte o al menos por la que yo empiezo es la de los ojos, debemos usar un primer para ojos o un corrector de ojos, debo confesar que para hacer este maquillaje tuve que ver un vídeo bastante antiguo pero que me ayudó mucho a aprender nuevas técnicas.

Aplicamos en todo el párpado de nuestro ojo el primer o el corrector de ojos, en este caso use un corrector y aplique una buena cantidad porque no es de muy buena calidad y además, siempre que hago un maquillaje de ojos me queda bastante claro, por lo que estuve tomando las recomendaciones y aplicandome una cantidad suficiente para que luego las sombras se adhieran bien y se vea más llamativo y bonito.

We start by keeping our face very clean, washing it with our favourite soap and drying it gently. The first part, or at least where I start, is the eyes. We should use an eye primer or eye concealer. I must confess that to do this make-up I had to watch a rather old video, but it helped me a lot to learn new techniques.

We apply the primer or eye concealer to the entire eyelid. In this case, I used a concealer and applied a generous amount because it is not very good quality and, also, whenever I do eye makeup, it tends to be quite light, so I followed the recommendations and applied enough so that the eyeshadow would adhere well and look more striking and beautiful.

Con un tono de color rosado oscuro o que tenga algo parecido al fucsia pero mucho más oscuro empiezo aplicandolo en las esquinas del párpado, mucha cantidad para que se pueda ver, podemos hacerlo con tranquilidad para no hacer un desastre he ir aplicando la sombra paso a paso. Luego con la brocha hacemos una especie de difuminado hacia el centro del ojo pero solo en la parte superior sin tocar el medio del párpado, así hasta que la sombra se vea un poco más clara y se haga un efecto de difuminado en forma redondeada.

Cuando veamos que el color rosa oscuro se vea bastante, tomamos un poco de sombra negra y la vamos aplicando despacio y sin apuros al final del ojo para hacer como una especie de degradado entre los dos colores. Esta sombra negra no la vamos a difuminar hacia el centro, simplemente la dejamos al final de nuestro ojo para hacer un estilo de ojo ahumado.

Using a dark pink shade, or something similar to fuchsia but much darker, I start by applying it to the corners of the eyelid, using plenty so that it is visible. We can do this calmly so as not to make a mess, applying the eyeshadow step by step. Then, using the brush, blend it towards the centre of the eye, but only on the upper part without touching the middle of the eyelid, until the eyeshadow looks a little lighter and creates a rounded blending effect.

When you see that the dark pink colour is quite visible, take a little black eyeshadow and apply it slowly and without rushing to the end of the eye to create a kind of gradient between the two colours. Do not blend this black eyeshadow towards the centre, simply leave it at the end of the eye to create a smoky eye look.

Después de que tengamos ya las sombras bien aplicadas, tomamos nuestro delineador, el mío es en lápiz porque me da más precisión ya que no se me da muy bien hacerme delineados. Hacemos un delineado desde el final del párpado hacia el medio, no demasiado grueso ni alargado.

Esta parte me costó bastante pero se logró jaja, luego aplicamos en la parte del párpado que no tiene sombras un poco más de corrector de ojos para hacer el corte entre las sombras y la siguiente que vamos a aplicar, que va a iluminar más la mirada. Con una brocha un poco más plana podemos aplicar poca cantidad del corrector y hacer esta especie de corte, luego dejamos secar un poco y aplicamos una sombra brillante, en mi caso use una sombra más de color champagne y solo la aplique en esa zona.

Once we have applied the eyeshadow evenly, we take our eyeliner. I use a pencil because it gives me more precision, as I'm not very good at applying eyeliner. We draw a line from the end of the eyelid towards the middle, making sure it's not too thick or too long.

This part was quite difficult for me, but I managed it haha. Next, apply a little more eye concealer to the part of the eyelid that doesn't have eyeshadow to create a line between the eyeshadow and the next one we're going to apply, which will brighten the eyes even more. With a slightly flatter brush, we can apply a small amount of concealer and create this kind of cut, then let it dry a little and apply a shiny eyeshadow. In my case, I used a more champagne-coloured eyeshadow and only applied it to that area.

Finalmente como no me gusta usar demasiada base aplique primero el corrector de ojos en mis ojeras y lo difumine con una esponja a toques. Después aplique un poco de base solo en pocas cantidades en las mejillas, mentón, nariz y frente. Difumine todo muy bien con la misma esponja y sellé con polvo compacto.

Para terminar aplique un color de rubor bastante suave ya que la mirada ya estaba para mi bastante cargada, lo coloque en las mejillas, un poco en la nariz y el mentón. Luego use un labial que es algo mate de color morado pero que al final termina dando un acabado más rosa, en mis labios y después aplique sobre los labios un poco de gloss y finalmente el maquillaje estuvo listo.

Finally, as I don't like to use too much foundation, I first applied eye concealer to my dark circles and blended it in with a sponge using small dabs. Then I applied a small amount of foundation to my cheeks, chin, nose and forehead. I blended everything in well with the same sponge and set it with compact powder.

To finish, I applied a very soft blush colour, as I felt my eyes were already quite heavy, putting it on my cheeks, a little on my nose and chin. Then I used a slightly matte purple lipstick, which ultimately gives a more pink finish, on my lips, and then applied a little gloss to my lips, and finally my make-up was ready.

Realmente me divertí haciendo este maquillaje y mirando el paso a paso del vídeo de YouTube aunque use colores diferentes y técnicas diferentes, sentí que quedó bastante bien para ser una principiante jaja. Debo mejorar el tema de saber cómo colocarme las sombras para que se noten más, también mejorar el delineado y saber tomarme las fotografías en un mejor lugar ya que el color no se logra percibir en algunas de las fotos. Pero quedo bonito y quise compartirles el paso a paso de este sencillo maquillaje 💕.

I really enjoyed doing this make-up and watching the step-by-step YouTube video. Even though I used different colours and techniques, I felt it turned out pretty well for a beginner, haha. I need to improve how I apply the eyeshadow so that it stands out more, as well as my eyeliner technique and taking photos in a better place, as the colour isn't visible in some of the photos. But it looks nice and I wanted to share the step-by-step guide for this simple makeup look with you 💕.
