Garlic chilli rice recipe with leftover rice

Hello foodies !

Garlic chilli rice is a quick , delicious and awesome side dish which taste great with saute garlic flavour and goes with everything.



Yesterday I tried this recipe first time and it become my favourite. I had some leftover rice and somewhere i saw the garlic rice picture. Than I thought to give it a twist and use the leftover rice. I make garlic chilli rice and it turned unbelievably delicious. Everyone at my home like this recipe .

Next time i gonna make extra rice to enjoy this . Because while we have something in less quantity and use leftover food , the recipe always turned amazing 😝.

To Make garlic chilli rice we need only rice, garlic cloves and chilli . With little herbs this recipe get ready in few minutes and can enjoy as a side dish for lunch or dinner. If you have leftover rice this is perfect for quick hunger .

INGREDIENTS ✅

  • Rice 1 bowl
  • Garlic 7-8 cloves
  • Green chilli 1
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Green coriander for garnish


PROCESS ✅

first collect all ingredients. I have leftover rice , if you want to make it directly than first cooked rice and cool down the rice.

Now crush the garlic . When we crush the garlic it gives nice flavour. After crush the garlic add salt and red chilli powder and crush it again and make a paste like it .

Other side cut the green chilli to give it more spicy flavour.

Now heat a kadai or pan , add oil in it , when the oil gets hot add mustard seeds . When seeds start to crackle add garlic chilli paste and chooped green chilli .

Saute it for some seconds at the low flame . If you use less oil , add little water. And if you have vegan butter you can add butter also . Here i only use oil.

After saute the paste quickly add rice and give it a good mix.

Cook for one minute. In one minute I capture my selfie with the rice 😛.



your rice is ready to Enjoy .

When you try something first time i feel so excited and also there is a though how it will be . We put all efforts and happiness and most of the food turned so delicious.
My mom always said while you cook food your thoughts and feeling impact the taste.

I hope you enjoy this recipe and will try soon . You can skip red chilli if you want to it less spicy .

I just love dishes with garlic. They add so much flavour.. aur yeh rice toh bahut zada yummy dikh rahe hain 😍😋

Something with leftover rice is something we needed. Always I have some to refrigerate. So next time I will give a try.
