We Visited Amazing Graveyard

We Burmese are usually afraid of graves.
In the evening and at night, we are afraid to go to the cemetery alone.
Graveyard is a land of woe.
Building a house and living on a cemetery is not something that would be thought of by an ordinary person.

When our family visited Yangon, we came across a cemetery.
(Actually, I don't think there is a place in this world where people and animals don't die.)
The cemetery we went to was formerly Yangon's famous KyanTaw Cemetery.
The graves of the dead in that cemetery were moved to another place.
However, because the two graves could not be moved, they said that they had made a car park to dig up the ground.
There was a big banyan tree there.
They said that because they did not dare to cut down that banyan tree, they had to place it with the Buddha statues.
Now the banyan tree has fallen down on its own.

When we arrived at the cemetery, we saw two large buildings with about 15 floors.
The two buildings are connected by a glass bridge.
We also climbed the glass bridge.
That building is called Time City.
It has become Yangon's famous shopping center that has emerged recently.

It used to be a famous cemetery, but now when it's a shopping mall, people are no longer afraid to visit it.

ကျွန်တော်တို့ မြန်မာလူမျိုးတို့သည် များသောအားဖြင့် သင်္ချိုင်း ကို ကြောက်လန့်တတ်ကြသည်။

ကျွန်တော်တို့မိသားစု ရန်ကုန်မြို့ သို့ အလည်အပတ်သွားရောက်ခဲ့စဉ်က သင်္ချိုင်းမြေ တခုပေါ်သို့ ရောက်ခဲ့ကြသည်။
(တကယ်တော့ လူနှင့်သတ္တဝါတွေ မသေဘူးတဲ့ မြေနေရာသည် ဤကမ္ဘာ၌ ရှိအံ့မထင်ပါ။)
ကျွန်တော်တို့ ရောက်ခဲ့သော သင်္ချိုင်းမြေ သည် ယခင်က ရန်ကုန်မြို့၏ ထင်ရှားသော ကြံတောသုသာန် ဖြစ်ခဲ့သည်။
ထို သုသာန် ရှိ လူသေများ မြှုပ်နှံထားသော အုတ်ဂူများ ကို အခြားနေရာသို့ ရွှေ့ပြောင်းစေခဲ့သည်။
သို့သော် အုတ်ဂူနှစ်လုံးကိုတော့ ရွှေ့ပြောင်းမရခဲ့သောကြောင့် မြေဖို့ကာ Car Parking လုပ်ထားသည်ဟု ဆိုကြသည်။
ထိုနေရာ၌ ညောင်ပင်ကြီး တစ်ပင်ရှိခဲ့သည်။
ထို ညောင်ပင်ကိုလည်း မခုတ်ဖြတ်ရဲကြသောကြောင့် ဗုဒ္ဓရုပ်ပွားတော်များနှင့် ထားကြရသည်ဟု ဆိုကြသည်။
ယခုတော့ ထိုညောင်ပင်သည် သူ့အလိုလို လဲပြိုသွားခဲ့ပါပြီ။

ကျွန်တော်တို့ ထိုသင်္ချိုင်းမြေပေါ် ရောက်တော့ အထပ်ပေါင်း ၁၅ ထပ်မျှလောက်ရှိသော အဆောက်အဦးကြီး နှစ်လုံးကို တွေ့ခဲ့ရသည်။
ထိုအဆောက်အဦးကြီး နှစ်လုံးကို မှန်တံတားဖြင့် ဆက်သွယ်ထားပါသည်။
ကျွန်တော်တို့လည်း ထိုမှန်တံတားပေါ်သို့ တက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
ထိုအဆောက်အဦးကို Time City ဟု ခေါ်ကြသည်။
မကြာသေးခင်ကမှ ပေါ်ပေါက်လာခဲ့‌သော ရန်ကုန်မြို့၏ အထင်ကရ ဈေးဝယ်စင်တာကြီး ဖြစ်ပါတော့သည်။

ယခင်က ထင်ရှားသော သင်္ချိုင်းကြီး ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပေမယ့် ယခုအခါ ဈေးဝယ်စင်တာကြီး ဖြစ်နေသောအခါ လူတွေသည် မကြောက်လန့်ကြတော့ဘဲ သွားရောက် လည်ပတ်နေကြပါတော့သည်။
