Magnificent mosques in Aceh

Last week, I traveled to the capital city of Aceh, Indonesia with my family. The journey that I had to take was about 7 hours by road. Aceh is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has many mosques in each district/city. Yes, because Aceh is also a Muslim majority. So, it is not surprising that in our place there are many magnificent mosques with architecture like those in the Middle East.

Well, as a Muslim, it is obligatory for me to perform worship. So, along the way we stopped at each mosque when it was time for prayer and all the rest for a while after praying at the mosque.

In the first picture is the Raudhaturrahman Mosque, the Tempurun Mosque. This mosque looks like a coconut shell. In addition, there is also a kechiek leumiek mosque. This mosque was built by a philanthropist. Well, the last thing I visited was the Baiturrahman mosque. This mosque is also an icon of Aceh.

In every mosque, I don't forget to take pictures of the mosques that I visit. Well, in this post I show you some photos that I captured on my trip. And I share these photos with all of you on this occasion.
