The birds must've been really pissed at first thinking they might never get to have some of those nice looking cherries. Now that they are able to have it they must really savour every bit of it and grateful to you for being considerate.

LOL. I seriously have no idea if a bird can actually get pissed off, but why not? They certainly wouldn't have been happy when they couldn't get to those cherries. That is precisely why we decided to leave some of those delicious cherries hanging for the birds. My partner and I are certainly not the worst people, and we love those birds that bring life to our garden.
