Many more lights on the Los Trujillanos Walkway

Today, Christmas Day, I want to share what I believe will be the last post in a series I have been writing, entitled “Hunting for Christmas Lights.” In these posts, I have tried to photograph iconic places in different areas that have been decorated with Christmas themes, in keeping with this time of year. I am currently traveling in the city of Barinas and, as in the previous post, I am going to share another place that was exceptionally decorated with a wide variety of lights and ornaments.

On this occasion, I had the opportunity to visit Paseo Los Trujillanos, a very emblematic site in the city of Barinas that is normally decorated according to the time of year. On this occasion, of course, Christmas reigns supreme with its lights and magic. Below, you will see a series of photos of a large walkway that, when not decorated, also functions as an avenue. There, you can appreciate how the different lights create a spectacular atmosphere for those who come to share, talk, and spend time with their families.

This time, I went with my wife, my mom, and my two sisters. We hung out there, breathed in the fresh air, took some photos, and basically enjoyed the beautiful things that Christmas brings with its wonderful atmosphere and lights. Since I started writing these posts, I have realized that the lights undoubtedly give us the feeling that we are in a totally different season, one of family gatherings and friends that we should not take for granted. I think that, ultimately, this feeling should last throughout the year, but for some reason, at this time of year, that feeling of brotherhood and familiarity is heightened or amplified.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone on this blockchain a Merry Christmas.
