I break the routine visiting “El mirador” in Henry Pittier National Park

Normally weekends are the days we choose to travel or go for a walk, and well, this is normal since due to study or work issues, weekdays (Monday to Friday) are practically impossible. I don't have a work schedule, however, due to my habits it is rare to go for a walk on a Monday or Tuesday, just to mention a day, since the establishments or tourist sites may be closed or working at half speed. So even though I can go for a trip any day of the week, I still get caught up in the routine and habits of times when I didn't have the same possibilities that I have right now.
Yesterday I went out to do a couple of errands, the boring ones that make us waste time, however, I finished them early in the morning (I was lucky this time), so, together with my wife, we decided to break the routine abruptly and took the road that goes to Ocumare de la Costa, a wonderful beach area, but our intention was not to get to the beach, but to a viewpoint that is on the road about 30 kilometers from where we were at that time.

The road to get there has many ups, downs and curves due to the mountainous nature of the place, so you can't speed. The road was totally alone since it is Wednesday and few people go to the beach, and well, that was perfect to drive relaxed and at the same time enjoy the scenery. After about 20 minutes we were already at El Mirador del Parque Nacional Henry Pittier, from there you can see the city of Maracay, Aragua state and the city of Mariara, Carabobo state, both of them perfectly separated by a mountain.

The sky was completely clear which was perfect to appreciate the city in greater detail from a distance. Lake Los Tacariguas is perhaps the main protagonist of the scene as it can be seen in all its splendor, it is definitely bigger than I thought. Next, you will see a couple of pictures of my truck which I try to portray in all my trips since at the end of the day it is the one that takes us to all the destinations, I am glad that it is always in good condition when I decide to take distant roads.

So we broke the routine by taking a road that is not very busy for us, it is there, not far away, but for some reason we do not take it to go to the beach as regularly as we would like, maybe we are prey to habit, but that will change over time as we become more and more convinced that we must take advantage of opportunities to experience different things in the moments we least think, as we did this time.

The clear sky and the scenic view was indeed relaxing. Good to know that despite your busy schedule, you had the time to be idle for a while and give time for yourself. Here's to more adventures. I believe the unplanned ones make memories more exciting.
The best moments are definitely the ones that aren't planned. I think that's because you weren't expecting anything that was going to happen.
Thank you for your support!
I loved your final reflection and how nice that you have broken the routine or habit, otherwise, these spectacular photographs would not exist, the view is majestic 😍 I hope you can continue to enjoy more moments like this, they are the best because they are unforeseen and improvised, but they are the best moments 🙏
By the way, your truck is amazing, never miss in the photo session hehe 🦉❤️
Over time, I have come to understand that, as long as we have the opportunity, we should enjoy the little moments, as sometimes they surprise us more than we expected.
And yes, I try to make sure my truck always appears on stage.
