Smiling in the midst of fears

Smiling in the midst of fears can be challenging sometimes, but it is possible.
Fear is a natural feeling, and each and everyone tends to experience it in our daily lives. It can be caused by various situations or actions, which maybe uncertainty, change, trauma, harm, or danger.
It's natural to feel fear in certain situations, but it's important to know that fear doesn't have to control or overpower you. Smiling in the midst of fear can be a better way to help you overcome it.

I once experience this season in my life. There was a semester i had difficulties in school. I felt that i would have a carryover in my courses. When it came to the period of examinations, i was careless about reading because i had that fear that i might not pass the course. But the best thing i did which made me to smile and gain victory amidst my fears was talking to a counselor which gave me advice and soothing words. But even after the counseling, i still was a little bit afraid but i believed in myself and behold at the end of that semester, I had excellent results.

Here is a story of someone who smiled in the midst of her fears:

Malala Yousafzai: Malala is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate. She is known for her advocacy work for education for girls, despite facing assassination attempts by the Taliban. In 2012, she was shot in the head by a gunman while riding a bus to school, but she survived the attack and went on to continue her activism with even greater passion and resilience.

She faced fears, challenges and difficulties in life yet still smiled and used her story to encourage others. This story serve as an inspiration and lesson to us all to never give up, even in challenging times.

Here are a few hints that may help you smile in the midst of fear:

  • Avoid being trapped in negative thoughts and emotions that may kindle your fear. Instead, you can focus on the positive aspects of the situation.

  • Analyze the way you think, instead of seeing the situation as a threat, try to see it as an opportunity to grow. You can also see the situation as amusing, as laughter can be a great way to reduce tension and stress.

  • Seek for help and advise from others- Talk to someone you can trust and don't be afraid to ask for help or advice.

  • When you feel fear, take a moment and pause to take a deep breath. This can help you calm your nerves.

By smiling in the midst of your fears, you can control and overcome whatever situation and challenges you may be going through.
