Compliment of the season to y'all.
I just want to share this little note with the great people of this community.

Never allow anyone to define you! Just be you! -Chrys Phillips

Just being you doesn't imply that you are proud rather it shows the confidence you have in yourself.
To be you, you need to do the right thing even when others are of the opinion that it is not the right thing. Don't act on the influence of others; Don't do things that will be in favour of others when such things are discomforting or uncomfortable for you.

Avoid negative people/peers around you, they might end up making you inferior or have low self-esteem.

Live your best life: Individually, do things that you love and truly enjoy. Don't wait till it is approved or accepted by others, they might end up choosing the wrong opinion or decision for you.

Be outspoken: Believe in yourself. For example, whenever you are in the public and you have an opinion or suggestion to make, don't feel inferior because of what others will say or do.

Be your true self(Resist intimidation). Don't change your right attitude or behavior to appease others.
Indulge in the right things/activities that will make you happy 😊

Finally, Appreciate yourself because you are a unique being.

Just be you!!!

Thanks for the advice for the community, I'm sure many would be happy to learn from your experience. I see you're kinda new, so I'd like to helps you with a few suggestion. We have a community, called Self Improvement where you can post topics like this one, to reach the right audience.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide. I also put together a list of communities, which is not complete, there are much more communities on Hive, but it will help you get started.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Let me know if you need more help.
