This is my first publication, which is related to a project I had pending several months ago, which I try to show the colonial area of my hometown. Carora Edo. Lara Venezuela. Carora is a beautiful city that every day I feel proud to belong to this town. In this Colonial Zone are several institutions, colonial houses of families where they still reside. Also, the Cathedral and churches, theaters, plaza, elementary schools, music and art schools. In addition, there are various inns and several headquarters of university institutions.

Esta es mi primera publicación, la cual se relaciona con un proyecto que tenía pendiente hace varios meses la cual trato de enseñar la zona colonial de mi ciudad natal. Carora Edo. Lara Venezuela. Carora es una ciudad hermosa que cada día me siento orgullosa de pertenecer a este gentilicio. En esta Zona Colonial se encuentran varias instituciones, casas coloniales de familias donde aún residen. También La Catedral e iglesias, teatros, plaza, escuelas de primaria, escuelas de música y de arte. Además, existen varias posadas y varias sedes de instituciones Universitarias.

The Colonial zone starts from the corner of the poet, the streets are composed of cobblestones. This is Bolivar Street.

La zona Colonial comienza desde la esquina del poeta, las calles se componen por adoquines. Esta es la calle Bolívar.

Social Security offices are located on the right.

A la derecha funcionan oficinas del Seguro Social.

On the left corner, in this large house, the newspaper El Impulse was started. Comercio Street.

En la esquina izquierda, en esta casona se inició el Diario El Impulso. La calle Comercio.

House of Culture of Carora. The National System of Children's and Youth Orchestra of Venezuela operates.

Casa de la Cultura De Carora. Funciona el Sistema Nacional de Orquesta Infantil y Juveniles de Venezuela.

This is the Calvario church with its architectural façade of more than 400 years old.

Esta es la iglesia Calvario con su fachada arquitectónica de mas de 400 años de antigüedad.

This Colonial zone is characterized for being still inhabited by its families. Several of these mansions have been enabled to function as inns at present. These streets are made up of attractive mansions for tourism for their colonial architecture that they possess and have tried to preserve even though they have suffered abandonment and destruction by past floods. But this Colonial zone is still in its splendor.
It was rebuilt after the flood in the 70s maintaining the same architectural style of the time in its facades.

Esta zona Colonial se caracteriza por estar aún habitada por sus familias. Varias de estas casonas han sido habilitadas para funcionar como posadas en la actualidad. Estas calles la componen casonas atractivas para el turismo por su arquitectura colonial que ellas poseen y se ha tratado de conservar a pesar de que han sufrido abandono y destrucción por inundaciones pasadas. Pero esta zona Colonial aún está en su esplendor.Fué recontruida después de la inundación por los años 70 manteniendo el mismo estilo arquitectónico de la época en sus fachadas.
