It is very enjoyable to stroll among the narrow and beautiful streets of Seirkeci. It's like a movie scene. Magnificent buildings, crowded tourists... There is a work of art waiting for you in every street and corner. Perfect and fascinating buildings attract you like a picture gallery.

Merhaba arkadaşlar. Bugün İstanbul'un tarihi semti: Sirkeci'yi geziyoruz. İstanbul tarihi yarım adasında: yüzyıllardır ticaret merkezi olan kadim bir semt.

Sirkeci; Eminönü, Sarayburnu, Sultanahmet, Ayasofya nın da bulunduğu bir tarihin açık hava müzesini andiran bir yer. İstanbul'un her zaman en kalabalik, en işlek semtlerinden biri.

Osmanlı İmparatorluğu döneminde Tarihî tren garı ile Avrupa'nın doğuya açıldığı nokta olmuş. Sirkeci Tren garı; mütevazı ve muhtesem mimarisi ile geçmiş ve gelecek arasında köprü olmaya devam ediyor. Tren garı; uluslararası tren seferleri ve yurt içi seferleri ile binlerce yolcuya ev sahipliği yapıyor. Tren garında ki tarihi restaurantda size tarihe bir yolculuk sunuyor.

Seirkecinin dar ve güzel sokakları arasında gezmek çok keyifli. Sinema filmi sahneleri gibi. Muhteşem görkemli binalar, kalabalık turistler..Her sokak ve köşede sizi bekleyen bir sanat eseri var. Sanki bir resim galerisi gibi kusursuz ve büyüleyici binalar sizi kendine çekiyor.

Sirkeci de boğaza ve halice açılan sokaklar, Gülhane Parkına çıkan caddeler ve sayısız tramvaylar. Postahane binası, iş Bankası müzesi, tarihi Istanbul suları, Osmanlı imparatorluğu zamanından kalma çeşmeler, camiler. Tarihe güzel bir yolculuk.

Eminönü ile Sirkeci birleştiği harika meydanda; Yeni Cami ve guvercinleri. Sarayburnu na bakan küçük ama muhteşem parkı ile görülmesi gereken bir yer. Yüzyıllar boyunca ticaret mekzi olan semte büyük alış merkezlerinin yanı sıra bir çok tarihi pasaj ve yeni yapılan çarşılar var. Burada Mısır Çarşısı ve Çiçek çarşısı en meşhurlarındandır.

Sirkeci - Eminönü Eski Osmanlı imparatorluğu ve İstanbul'un merkezi olmaya devam ediyor.. Istanbul'un aynası olarak adlandırılıyorlar. Çok kalabalık, çok sesli ama bence eşsiz bir güzelliği ve dokusu var.
