Hello friends, how was your start to the week?

This one was quite productive for me. I had some ideas in mind and was able to bring them to fruition. That said, I ended up very tired on Sunday because I had to walk too much, I would say, but I am very happy with the results. Today I'll share some more funerary art from the Colón Cemetery in Havana. Let me give you an interesting fact: it was built in 1876 and is considered one of the world's finest in terms of its architectural richness. So let's share some of the images I discovered. Here we go...

It is truly fascinating to find these sculptures everywhere, as if waiting to be seen.

Some are better preserved than others because time is relentless, yet their beauty remains undiminished.

I like to compose an image by interweaving various elements, which gives my photo a special drama.

And when I tell you that no matter how many times you visit the place, you always find something new, I'm not exaggerating. Practically every meter has something to discover.

Negative factors include the weather, as the sun is not cooperative and can be quite harsh, especially at midday and in the afternoon, making walking quite challenging. There is also the possibility of being assaulted due to the size of the place and the fact that there are not always police officers nearby. However, it is worth it, as the results make the sacrifice worthwhile. That day, I took many photos that I will gradually share.

Hola amigos, ¿qué tal el inicio de semana?

Este fue para mí bastante productivo, tenía algunas ideas en mente y las pude materializar, eso sí, terminé el domingo muy cansado porque tuve que caminar demasiado, diría yo, no obstante estoy muy feliz por los resultados. Hoy compartiré algo más de arte funerario en el Cementerio de Colón de La Habana. Déjeme darles un dato interesante: se construye en 1876 y está valorado entre los primeros a nivel mundial en cuanto a sus riquezas arquitectónicas. Vamos entonces a compartir algunas de esas imágenes que fui descubriendo, comenzamos...

Realmente es fascinante encontrar estas esculturas que están por todos lados como esperando ser vistas.

Algunas se conservan mejor que otras porque el tiempo es implacable, no obstante su belleza no mengua.

Me gusta componer una imagen entrelazando varios elementos, que le da un drama especial a mi foto.

Y cuando les digo que por muchas veces que visites el lugar siempre encuentras algo nuevo, no es exageración mía, prácticamente en cada metro hay algo por descubrir.

Factores en contra, el clima es uno, el sol no coopera y castiga muchísimo principalmente al mediodía y la tarde, por lo que caminar se vuelve un suplicio, la posibilidad que te asalten por lo grande del lugar y que no siempre hay policías cerca, de todas formas, vale la pena, al final los resultados hacen que el sacrificio no haya sido en vano. Ese día hice muchas fotos que poco a poco iré compartiendo.
