Today I come with a different proposal than usual, which is street photography. Let me tell you: I have a friend who sometimes accompanies me on these photography outings, and we decided to change things up and photograph birds on the coast. It's one of the things I most enjoy photographing, and I wanted to share it with you. Here it is:

Hoy vengo con una propuesta diferente a la habitual que es la fotografía callejera. Les cuento: tengo una amiga que a veces me acompaña en estas salidas fotográficas y decidimos cambiar de aires y fotografiar aves en la costa. Es una de las cosas que más me gusta fotografiar y quería compartirlo con ustedes. Les muestro:

The place is a paradise for birds; there aren't as many around these days because it's not migration season, but you can still see some that are permanent residents.

El lugar es un paraíso para las aves; en estos días no hay tantas porque no es época de migración, pero aún así se pueden observar algunas que son residentes permanentes.

As soon as we arrive, this little guy welcomes us. They are the watchmen of the area: as soon as they see an intruder, they sound the alarm. Anyway, he didn't escape the photo.

Apenas llegamos, este pequeño nos da la bienvenida. Son los vigías de la zona: en cuanto ven un intruso, dan la alarma. De todas formas, no se escapó de la foto.

If there is one species that is cautious, it is this one. They are constantly watching my movements, but they are very focused on their task of searching for fish. They stare intently, but they do not move.

Si hay una especie cautelosa, son estas. Están todo el tiempo vigilando mis movimientos, pero muy concentradas en su tarea de buscar peces. Observan fijamente, pero no se mueven.

The real stars of the day are abundant in this place. At this time of year, they have just finished their nesting period and have chicks.

Los verdaderos protagonistas del día, son muy abundantes en este lugar en esta época del año, porque acaban de terminar su período de anidación y tienen pichones.

Taking these photos of the chicks is very difficult because they are so small and fast that focusing on them is quite an ordeal.

Hacer estas fotos de los pichones es muy complicado porque son tan pequeños y rápidos que enfocarlos es toda una odisea.

Photographing birds is my greatest passion. It's as if a switch is flipped in my brain and everything else ceases to exist; all my attention is focused on that moment, and I am truly happy to share the results with you.
