Urban Snapshots: A District Bearing a Saint’s Name. [Eng/Esp]

Hello, Hive friends!

I want to show you what I did over the weekend. On Saturday, several colleagues and I went to visit a very well-known neighborhood in the city of Havana, San Isidro. It's not a place photographers usually go to, perhaps because it has a bad reputation, but it's full of stories. To be honest, I was a little scared at first because of what I had heard about the place, but I was pleasantly surprised: the people are super friendly and always help you with a smile. Here's a little bit of what we got that day. I hope you enjoy it.

Les quiero enseñar lo que hice el fin de semana. El sábado, varios colegas y yo nos fuimos a recorrer un barrio súper conocido en la ciudad de La Habana, San Isidro. No es un sitio al que los fotógrafos suelen ir, quizas por tener mala reputación pero está lleno de historias. La verdad es que al principio tenía un poco de miedo por lo que había oído sobre ese lugar, pero me llevé una grata sorpresa: la gente es súper amable y siempre te ayudan con una sonrisa. Aquí les dejo un poquito de lo que conseguimos ese día, espero las diafruten.

They say that encountering a black cat on the road brings bad luck. I'm not superstitious, but what about encountering a white one?

Encontrarse en el camino a un gato negro dicen que da mala suerte, no soy supersticioso pero entonces encontrar uno blanco que será?
