Greetings, dear friends of #blackandwhite.

I wanted to title this post "When the weather has the last word" because that's literally what happened to me yesterday. I had planned to go out early with my nephew as my assistant to do some street photography. We got up early because the city is at its best in the early morning when it comes to natural light, but when we had everything ready, it started to rain. We waited and waited, but it didn't stop. Wisin could no longer contain his frustration as a child eager for adventure, and you could see it on his face. So, in the meantime, I took some pictures of him, not knowing that he would end up becoming the star of my photo series.

As a child at heart and calm by nature, he entertained himself with whatever he could find; sometimes he would look out the window to see if the rain had stopped and then continue playing.

His dad, who lives in the United States, sent him a capybara stuffed animal for his birthday; the poor thing is crazy about it, he dresses it up, takes pictures of it; you have to see it to believe it. Of course, I took advantage of the opportunity to take pictures of them in the process.

He gets tired quickly, but the good news is that it was finally stopping raining.

Every so often, we would look out onto the balcony to check on the weather.

And that's how we spent most of the morning; just when it seemed like it was going to clear up, the rain would start again. Sometimes you make plans, but in the end, nature has the last word. Anyway, we made good use of our time, I took pictures of the boy, and everyone was happy; well, not so happy because suddenly, just when everything seemed to be improving, the power went out.

And that's my adventure from yesterday. I hope you enjoyed it, and I look forward to reading your comments. I send you my love from afar and wish you the best of days.

Saludos, amigos queridos de #blackandwhite

Quise titular esta publicación "Cuando el clima tiene la última palabra" porque literalmente así me sucedió ayer. Tenía planificado salir temprano con mi sobrino de ayudante para hacer street photography; madrugamos porque la ciudad bien temprano es cuando mejor está con el tema de la luz natural y, cuando lo teníamos todo listo, comenzó a llover. Esperamos y esperamos, pero no cesaba; Wisin ya no sabía cómo contener su frustración de niño deseoso de aventura y se le notaba en su rostro. Entonces, de entretiempo fui tomándole algunas imágenes sin saber que al final se convertiría él en el protagonista de mi serie fotográfica.

Como niño al fin y tranquilo por naturaleza, iba entreteniéndose con lo que encontrara; a veces miraba por la ventana para ver si había cesado la lluvia y después seguía jugando.

Su papá, que vive en Estados Unidos, le envió por su cumpleaños el peluche de capibara; lo tiene loco el pobre, lo viste, le hace fotos; hay que verlo para creerlo. Claro está que aproveché la ocasión para ir sacándoles fotos en el proceso.

Se cansa rápido, pero la buena noticia es que ya iba terminando de llover.

A cada rato nos asomábamos al balcón como punto de vigilancia.

Y así estuvimos prácticamente toda la mañana; cuando parecía que sí, entonces comenzaba el agua de nuevo. Nada, que a veces uno hace planes y al final la naturaleza da su última palabra. De todas maneras, aprovechamos bien el tiempo, le hice fotos al niño y todos felices; bueno, no tan felices porque de pronto, cuando todo parecía mejorar, quitaron la electricidad.

Y hasta aquí mi aventura de ayer; espero les haya gustado y estoy deseoso de leer sus opiniones. Les abrazo a la distancia y deseo el mejor de los días.
