The street and its daily chaos. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]
These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.
I’m constantly looking for cleaner images from a compositional point of view — scenes where everything, or almost everything, feels somewhat ordered.
But achieving that in the streets of Havana isn’t easy at all. There’s always so much happening at the same time. Every corner feels like a small chaos. And that’s precisely the challenge.
I tried to reflect that feeling in these photos: searching for balance within disorder.
Composition has always been an essential part of the way I photograph, even though sometimes it’s difficult to achieve amid Havana’s rhythm. Still, I truly enjoy both the final result and the process behind it.
For now, I’ll say goodbye, grateful to be able to share my work with you.

Constantemente estoy buscando imágenes más limpias desde el punto de vista compositivo. Escenas donde todo, o casi todo, tenga cierto orden.
Pero lograr eso en las calles de La Habana no es nada fácil. Aquí siempre están pasando muchas cosas al mismo tiempo. Cada esquina parece un pequeño caos. Y justamente ahí está el reto.
Intenté reflejar esa sensación en estas fotos: buscar equilibrio dentro del desorden.
La composición siempre ha sido parte esencial de mi manera de fotografiar, aunque a veces me cueste alcanzarla en medio del ritmo habanero. Aun así, disfruto mucho el resultado final y el proceso que hay detrás.
Por ahora me despido, agradecido de poder compartir mi trabajo con ustedes.

I have always believed that street photographs are among the most authentic, as one does not seek to manipulate what is happening, but rather to capture spontaneity. Excellent photographs, my friend!
That's what I try to do, my friend, to be as faithful as possible to the everyday reality of the street, and street photography is characterized by that. I'm glad you liked the images, hugs.
Without that chaos there would be no good subjects for photography; it is part of the visual aesthetic itself.
