Greetings, friends. There are images that, at the moment we take them, don’t seem like they could ever become part of a publication. Maybe because their subject doesn’t feel important enough, or simply because we didn’t like them at the time. Sometimes they are also the photos nobody wanted; I mean the ones you show to fellow photographers and they don’t end up being anyone’s favorites.Still, when you let them rest for a while, you begin to see their value. Let me show you what I mean with this selection...

Saludos, amigos, hay imágenes que en el momento que uno las toma no te dan esa impresión de que se puedan después utilizar para alguna publicación, tal vez porque su protagonismo no sea tan relevante o sencillamente porque en ese momento no nos gustó. También sucede que son fotos que nadie quiso; me refiero a que se las enseñas a los demás colegas y no fueron sus preferidas. No obstante, cuando las dejas reposar, comienzas a darles valor. Les enseño a qué me refiero con esta selección...

The only thing they needed was enough time for us to understand them. Every image is a child of its own moment.

Lo único que había que hacer era darles el tiempo suficiente para entenderlas. Cada una es hija de su tiempo.

And I’m not trying to create some romantic idea here, but rather to find a balance in the way we interpret reality through the lens.

Y no trato de transmitir un concepto romántico, sino de encontrar un equilibrio en nuestra interpretación de la realidad que hacemos a través del lente.
