The Nature I Need So Much./ Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Official entry for the #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes and @brumest

A friend who lives in a town near my house called me a few days ago and asked, “Hey, why don’t we go to Baracoa (a coastal town in Artemisa Province) to take photos of nature, birds, and insects in a wetland nearby?” |

|
He didn’t have to ask me twice—I thought it was a great idea. I’d been wanting to go out and take photos like this for a while, so we started making plans. |

|
The place is a bit far from my house—about eight kilometers—but I was lucky that my friend had a motorcycle, so we rode there; otherwise, it would have been very difficult to get there due to transportation issues. |

In Cuba, it’s not currently the bird migration season; therefore, there aren’t that many species to observe; however, there were always a few that popped up to delight our lens. |

|
When you say “birds,” you’re also talking about reptiles and scenery; in other words, it was a spectacular day because we had a whole range of opportunities to photograph, in addition to spending time with other friends who were there with us; in short, it was one of those days you’d want to relive over and over again. |

|
And with that, I’ll sign off for today with a different kind of post—not street photography as usual, but something more relaxing, something more about pure nature and life. So, thank you so much as always for your comments, for stopping by, and for your attention. Thank you. |
Gracias. |
