The Child, the Sea, Life. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

I had barely arrived in the city when the first thing I came across was this boy sitting on a log, gazing out at the sea. He stayed there for almost an hour. What could he have been thinking? That made me reflect on how the city’s contrasts have intensified in recent years. That’s where I drew my inspiration for the series I’m sharing with you today.

Apenas llegué a la ciudad y lo primero que encontré fue a este niño sentado sobre un tronco de madera mirando al mar. Estuvo allí casi una hora. ¿En qué estaría pensando? Aquello me hizo reflexionar sobre cómo los contrastes de la ciudad se han intensificado en los últimos años. De ahí salió mi inspiración para la serie que hoy les comparto.

The scene with the boy set the tone for the rest of the day—though, honestly, it made me feel very sad—but that’s part of the job. I’m infinitely grateful for your company. Have a wonderful Friday.
