The boy who spoke with his eyes. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Hello, friends, how are you?

I recently went to visit some friends in a nearby town called Caimito, about ten minutes from my house, so it wasn't very far. There I met a boy who lived near where I was staying and who, as soon as he saw me with my camera, fixed his gaze on me. It was spectacular because, despite his young age, he had a strength in his gaze that fascinated me. I asked his parents for permission and they let me take some pictures of him. The boy didn't talk much, but he didn't really need to. He just looked at me and his expression was enough to know what he wanted to say. As you can imagine, that's something spectacular for a photographer. I followed him for a few minutes and managed to take some pictures, which I am happy to show you below.

These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

She guided me around the area, sometimes holding my hand and other times sitting at a distance, as if analyzing me.

Through some gestures and his emotion, I could understand what he wanted to tell me: that it was his car. A small "Chivichana" made of wood.

I won't deny that I really enjoyed this little photo shoot. I learned that often you just have to let yourself be guided and stay alert, because the story you're looking for may be very close, just around the corner.

It has been a pleasure to share this with all of you. I am infinitely grateful that you follow my work, and your comments are always welcome.

See you soon. Best regards.

Saludos.
