The Best Views. / [Eng/Esp]

How are you all doing, friends? Do you ever get tired of searching for photos that fit a far-fetched concept or a specific aesthetic? It happens to me all the time, especially lately since I’ve been going out so often to take street photos.

¿Cómo les va, amigos? ¿Les sucede a veces que se cansan de buscar fotografías que obedezcan a un concepto rebuscado o una estética determinada? A mí me sucede muchísimo, y más últimamente que salgo con tanta frecuencia para hacer fotos de calle.

At those moments, when my ability to think clearly is overwhelmed, I just want images that bring peace to my mind, even if they’re photos that have been taken countless times; I simply like to sit and contemplate.

En ese momento, donde mi capacidad de razonar se satura, solo quiero tener imágenes que aporten paz a mi mente, aunque sean fotos que se hayan hecho muchas veces; simplemente me gusta sentarme y contemplar.

The colors of the city and its sights, the calm sea, old buildings; I’ll tell you, these are photos that many people have taken over and over, but still, if they give me a pleasant feeling, they’re welcome.

Los colores de la ciudad y sus cosas, el mar en calma, construcciones antiguas; ya les digo, son fotos muy repetidas por muchos, pero igual, si me aportan una sensación agradable, son bienvenidas.

And that’s how my day goes on the street; when my brain gets overwhelmed, I look for these images, and there I sit and contemplate, as long as these places still stand.

Y así va pasando mi día en la calle; cuando mi cerebro se satura, busco estas imágenes, y allí me siento a contemplar, mientras esten en pie estos lugares.
