Hello, friends, how are you?

This weekend has been very fruitful, which has left me quite satisfied because I was able to take some photos that I had been planning for a long time.

So today it was time to go home, and on the way to the terminal, I passed through a neighborhood that I loved. Of course, taking out your camera early in the morning there is crazy because you could get mugged. So what did I do? I used my phone, discreetly, of course; every time I saw a scene I liked, I took advantage of it. This area of the city is not the most economically advantaged, and my intention is not to highlight its decline, but rather to point out that sometimes we get stuck on the idea that the only way to take a photo is with a camera, when there are situations in which a phone can be a great alternative.

I always try to take photos that are as honest as possible, that reflect the everyday reality of this city, whether it's street photography or documentary photography, so I'm always very grateful when people follow me and comment on my posts. I really appreciate it.

Hola, amigos, ¿qué tal están?

Este fin de semana ha sido muy fructífero, lo que me ha dejado bastante satisfecho porque he podido hacer algunas fotos que llevaba tiempo planificando.

Entonces ya hoy me tocaba regresar a casa y, de camino a la terminal, pasé por un barrio que me encantó. Eso sí, sacar la cámara temprano por la mañana allí es una locura porque te pueden asaltar. ¿Qué hice entonces? Utilicé mi teléfono, con discreción, claro; cada vez que veía alguna escena que me gustaba, podía aprovecharla. Esta zona de la ciudad no es la más favorecida económicamente, y mi intención no es resaltar su decadencia, sino que a veces nos casamos con la idea de que la única forma de hacer una foto es con una cámara, cuando hay situaciones en las que el teléfono puede ser una gran alternativa.

Yo siempre intento hacer fotos lo más sinceras posible, que se ajusten a la realidad cotidiana de esta ciudad, ya sea fotografía callejera o documental, por eso siempre estoy muy agradecido cuando me siguen y comentan mis publicaciones, lo aprecio mucho la verdad.
