Simply blending in. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Official entry for the #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes and @brumest

Greetings, friends of #blackandwhite. With this series, I want to show you a part of one of the toughest neighborhoods to photograph in Havana: it’s called Centro Habana. It’s one of the places I’ve photographed the least. Why is it tough? Because everyone there is struggling to make a living, and they see anyone carrying a camera as a threat. That’s why I tried to go unnoticed, holding the camera at waist level and pressing the shutter from there. I did it all very discreetly. These are the results. |

In the past, this place wasn’t so complicated, but given the current conditions, it certainly is—and it’s also dangerous. Nevertheless, I’m very happy with the results. Thank you so much for joining me; I’ll be back soon with more street photos. Hugs. |
En otros tiempos este lugar no era tan complejo, pero dadas las condiciones actuales sí lo es y también es peligroso. No obstante, estoy muy contento con los resultados. Muchas gracias por su compañía, regreso pronto con más fotos callejeras. Abrazos. |

There are people who think camera is a threat, I wonder why. I think its because taking them pictures makes them uncomfortable. 😄 But if we explain to them that it is for blogging maybe they can feel comfortable.
There are different kinds of places in Havana. There are areas where taking photos isn’t seen as a threat because they’re more touristy. On the other hand, there are places where people do see it as a threat because there are practically never any tourists. As a result, it looks very strange to see someone walking around with a camera taking photos. Those are the places I focused on in today’s post. Thank you very much for your comment. Best regards.
Thanks for share pictures of my natal neighborhood, born and raise 😌 Actually their people aren't used to take pictures in their streets and that make this work hardest. So great work, dear friend 💙
Greetings, dear friend! Next time, you're coming with me to that place, and then we'll take pictures together. You owe me a photo outing, and we'll spend the day—how does that sound?
Congratulations. Today's #monomad third place is yours.
Thank You very much for participating and for being part of the Black And White Community!
What great news about getting third place today in #monomad, thank you so much 😊
