Greetings, friends of Hive

How are you doing? Yesterday I had a bit of a scare with my camera, but thanks to my friend @rg2-foto who kindly helped me fix it, I was happy and, since I was in Havana waiting for the train back, I took the opportunity to visit the Colón Cemetery. Although it is a very photographed place, its size, mystery, and impressive sculptures make it always worth visiting; there is such an atmosphere of silence, mystery, anguish, and art that at times it seems as if everything comes to life.

I'll share some of what I found.

¿Qué tal, cómo les va? Ayer pasé un buen susto con la cámara, pero gracias a mi amigo @rg2-foto que amablemente me ayudó a solucionarlo, ya feliz y dado que estaba en La Habana esperando el tren de regreso, aproveché para darme una vuelta por el Cementerio de Colón. Aunque es un lugar muy fotografiado, su tamaño, misterio y las impresionantes esculturas hacen que siempre valga la pena visitarlo; hay tanta atmósfera de silencio, misterio, angustia y arte que por momentos parece todo cobrara vida. Les comparto algo de lo que encontré.

The route also comes with a good dose of tension, as there have been reports of assaults and, to be honest, it's not entirely safe to walk there alone. Luckily, yesterday there were several police officers patrolling and there were no major incidents.

Al recorrido hay que sumarle una buena dosis de tensión, pues se han reportado algunos asaltos y, siendo sincero, no es del todo seguro caminar solo por allí. Por suerte, ayer había varios policías patrullando y no hubo mayores contratiempos.
