People of the Sea./ Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Official entry for the #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes and @brumest

People here make their living fishing—and I mean a lot of people—so it’s common to see fishermen coming in after a night out on the water with their catch. Fishing is still on my bucket list for this year, so while I was in Baracoa, a fishing village, I decided to do a short series on its traditions. |

There are hardly any fish left, because they use nets that catch fish of any size, which is why they have to go farther and farther out to sea, one man tells me. |

"People here make their living fishing—and I mean a lot of people"

And I tell them that if they’re lucky enough to catch a good one, their day is made, because fish prices are high, but some tell me that part of the catch is for eating at home and the rest is for selling. |

The truth is, I felt very relaxed walking around and chatting with the fishermen, and not a single one refused to let me take their picture—it couldn’t have gone better. |

At some point, I plan to return to this town and explore the topic in greater depth; I think there’s a lot of potential there. And that’s all for today, friends. Thank you so much as always, hugs, and see you soon. |

What a big fish they have, I also love fishing Dear @muhammadhalim but I only used fish lures and hooks instead of diving at the sea water. 😁
Greetings, my dear friend. Yes, those were enormous fish. Fishing is very popular here, though I don't do it as much; perhaps I will in the future. Hugs and many thanks for your comment.
Congratulations. Today's #monomad second place is yours.
Thank You very much for participating and for being part of the Black And White Community!
