Hello friends

There's nothing like a nice strong Cuban coffee, the kind that makes you grimace, to start a photo safari in the cold. Personally, when the weather gets tough, my ideas freeze along with my inspiration, and I find it hard to focus on my surroundings. That's why I need a nice hot coffee, the kind that burns your throat when you drink it... that's the good stuff, the kind that brings your soul back to your body and puts you in photography mode.

Perhaps there is a lot of my personal psychology in the photos I take; maybe that's why I repeat certain elements over and over again. Who knows. The fact is that I love sharing them and making them part of my street experience.

And you, are you coffee lovers? 😎☕

Hola amigos

Nada como un buen café cubano bien fuerte, de esos que te sacan una mueca en la cara, para comenzar un safari fotográfico en medio del frío. En lo personal, cuando el clima aprieta, las ideas se me congelan junto con la inspiración y me cuesta enfocarme en lo que me rodea. Por eso el café bien calentico, del que quema la garganta cuando baja… ese es el bueno, el que te devuelve el alma al cuerpo y te pone en modo fotografía.

Hoy les comparto algunas fotos muy normales: autos, por supuesto —¿qué sería de mí sin ellos?— y también fragmentos de esa normalidad aparente. Digo aparente porque el entorno anda convulso en estos días, pero nosotros seguimos, como si nada pasara, caminando la ciudad y haciendo nuestras rutinas.

Quizás haya mucho de mi psicología personal en las fotos que hago; tal vez por eso repito ciertos elementos una y otra vez. Quién sabe. El caso es que me encanta compartirlo y hacerlos parte de mi experiencia callejera.
