Migration to Cuba Is on the Rise Again / Show Me A Photo Contest Round 289. [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, friends of the #FeatheredFriends community! I’m happy to share with you all the photos of some bird species I’ve been taking this week, and to participate in the “Show Me A Photo Contest.”

After several months during which the vast majority of birds in Cuba had returned to North America to nest, they’re now coming back again.

Después de varios meses donde la gran mayoría de las aves en Cuba habían regresado a Norteamérica para anidar, ya están regresando nuevamente.

More than 70% of our species are migratory, so you can imagine what a celebration it is and how joyful it is to see them returning during the fall migration.

Más del 70 % de nuestras especies son migratorias, así que se pueden imaginar que es toda una fiesta y mucha alegría verlas regresando en la migración otoñal.

I’ve taken all these photos recently, and honestly, it’s been a real joy because our forests are coming alive.
