Greetings, friends of the #blackandwhite community. How’s life treating you?

Saludos, amigos de la comunidad #blackandwhite. ¿Cómo va la vida?

Here in Cuba, we have a very common expression: "How's the thing going?" The word thing can be interpreted in many different ways and applied to almost any situation in our daily hustle and bustle.

Aquí, en Cuba, tenemos una frase muy común: ¿cómo va la cosa?. La palabra cosa puede interpretarse de muchas maneras y adaptarse a casi cualquier situación del ajetreo diario.

Today, I wanted to give it a different meaning through these photographs. To me, the thing becomes that urban atmosphere where we all coexist, surrounded by movement, rush, and the little scenes that bring the city to life.

Hoy quise darle otro significado a través de estas imágenes. Para mí, la cosa se convierte en esa atmósfera citadina donde convivimos todos, entre el movimiento, las prisas y las pequeñas escenas que dan vida a la ciudad.

It’s a complex subject, and approaching it is always a challenge, but that’s exactly what makes it so interesting for a street photographer.

Es un tema complejo, y abordarlo siempre representa un desafío, pero precisamente por eso resulta tan interesante para un fotógrafo callejero.
