Hands That Make Life Happen / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, friends of Hive.

How are you doing?

Thanks to street photography, I have come to understand that there is an unwritten law on the street: no one walks around empty-handed. We always have something to carry, to take home, whatever it may be, but something.

Sometimes I stop to observe and realize that our hands say a lot about us, about our priorities, about what we carry inside. That's why I wanted to bring you a series of photographs on this theme.

These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

The phone has become an extension of the body, as if life depended on having it in your hand.

I have friends who, like this girl, carry it in their hands. Why don't they put it in their wallet or purse? It's not the same.

In this city, there are days when carrying things is a matter of survival.

Writing this has reminded me of my grandmother, may she rest in peace, who always insisted when I left the house: "Boy, take the basket, just in case." The "just in case" basket was always in my backpack.

And blessed are the hands that work. And those that carry, too, of course 😊.

Y benditas las manos que trabajan. Y las que cargan también, por supuesto 😊.

According to statistics, we are among the countries that protect wildlife the least. Illegal hunting of migratory species is a pastime among young people.

I don't know why I decided to take these photos of hands, but then, well, on second thought, I liked the approach and the concept. So, I hope I haven't bored you too much 😊. Tomorrow we'll continue with more street stories. That's all for today. Thank you for always joining me and for your comments, which brighten my day.

Take care, see you soon!

Entonces, espero no haberles aburrido demasiado 😊.
