ow are you all doing, friends? There’s a title I use from time to time in my posts: Postcards from My City. I really like it because it reminds me of those old postcards you used to buy at newsstands… things that, at least around here, are now a thing of the past.

Cómoles va, amigos? Hay un título que de vez en cuando utilizo en mis publicaciones: Postales de mi ciudad. Me gusta mucho, porque me recuerda aquellas postales antiguas que se compraban en los estanquillos… cosas que, al menos por aquí, ya forman parte del pasado.

I know not all the images I take are meant to be postcards, but in a way I do feel they’re part of a record, a memory of this city and its people, which I so enjoy walking through and photographing. Today we’re sharing some street photos, only this time I’m flipping the title: From the city, its postcards.

Sé que no todas las imágenes que hago están pensadas para ser una postal, pero de alguna forma sí siento que forman parte de un registro, de una memoria de esta ciudad y de su gente, que tanto disfruto caminar y fotografiar. Hoy compartimos algunas fotos de calle, solo que esta vez le doy la vuelta al título: De la ciudad, sus postales.

In the end, I think that’s what it’s all about: saving little fragments of what we experience, of what we see, of what sometimes goes unnoticed. Thank you, as always, for joining me and for taking the time to look. See you soon.
