Fragments of my City / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

Fragments of my city that do not appear on postcards, forgotten details, buildings corroded by saltpeter and time, children playing alone in public squares, doors and people on foot. This is my photographic journey that I want to share with you: not so touristy areas of Havana that refuse to disappear despite the passage of time and neglect.

Fragmentos de mi ciudad que no aparecen en postales, detalles olvidados, edificaciones corroídas por el salitre y el tiempo, niños que juegan solos en las plazas públicas, puertas y gente de a pie. Este es mi recorrido fotográfico que quiero compartir con ustedes: zonas no tan turísticas de La Habana que se niegan a desaparecer a pesar del paso del tiempo y el abandono.

If anything characterizes these places is their history, with hundreds of years of experiences impregnated in every corner. And, as we Cubans say, and what is still to come!
