City in Focus / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]
These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.
Greetings, friends of Hive
How are you doing? Today I want to share with you a series I made a few days ago, without really planning it. How so? Let me tell you.
I had in mind to visit some colonial houses that are representative of the city, both for their architecture and their history, since they are several centuries old and truly beautiful. Among them were the Casa de Asia and the Casa de las Huérfanas de la Obra Pía. However, I was somewhat disappointed because both were closed to the public. Well, at least they allowed me to take a photo from a distance.
With the day somewhat ruined, I decided to walk a little longer and was able to take some other photos. It wasn't what I had planned, but in the end I liked the results. Here they are.
Ever since I learned about this house, I have wanted to visit it. It was built in the early 17th century and its history is truly fascinating.

Sometimes I like to play around with composition, although I admit I still have a lot to learn. This is the side corridor of the San Gerónimo University College.
A street in Old Havana.
Una calle de la Habana Vieja.
Havana never leaves you without photos. Sometimes plans fall through, but in the end, there are always those street scenes that bring you a little happiness.
I'll sign off for today, family. I hope to see you soon in a new post. I'll be waiting for your comments. See you next time! 😉
