For many years I have dedicated myself to nature photography, especially bird photography. Birds have given me some of my greatest joys as a photographer. In fact, it is very difficult for me to plan a trip into the city without first including a forest, a lagoon, or a stretch of coastline. It is my way of staying connected to a passion that has been with me for so many years. |

That is why, every time I walk through the streets of Havana, I usually stop at Pigeon Square. I have been there countless times, and yet I always find something new to photograph. It is one of those places that never seems to run out of stories. |

Lately, however, there is something that concerns me. I have noticed several children trying to catch the pigeons and take them home. What surprises me most is that neither the adults nor the people responsible for the area seem to pay much attention to what is happening. Perhaps that is why I feel an even stronger desire to photograph them, as if I were trying to preserve a memory of something I truly appreciate. |

And of course, wherever there are birds, cats are usually not far away. They certainly know how to steal the spotlight. This one, for example, completely won me over with its gaze. There is something about cats that always catches my attention, no matter how many times I photograph them. |

And so the day went by, between birds, cats, long walks, and photographs. Also meeting new people, observing the city, and, why not admit it, having a few conversations with myself along the way. Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to spend my time. |

Thank you, dear friend! 🤗 I spent a long time sitting there trying to get that first photo, but in the end, my efforts paid off. Hugs! 🤗
🥰
I think it’s a great way to spend your time, birds and, above all, cats. That photo really caught my eye; maybe it’s because I love them! But it’s true, birds have something special about them; perhaps it’s down to the way they fly.
As for what you said about the children… it’s a shame nobody notices what the pigeons are up to. I don’t even want to think about why they do it, but I can imagine.
Street photography is your speciality and you’re brilliant at it, great work! Big hug!🤗

What a lovely comment, thank you. I discovered bird photography a few years ago now, and it has truly contributed so much to my career as a photographer and on a spiritual level. That’s why I’m always interested when I see different bird species while walking around the city. And yes, it’s very sad to see these kids hunting pigeons; they take them away to sell them later and also to raise them in captivity. I hope they assign someone responsible to these parks so this doesn’t happen anymore. Thank you very much for your kind words. Best regards
I hope so. Many people don’t like pigeons, but they’re creatures of nature, just like us. Thanks to you!
Those are very beautiful birds shots collections and it's shows how good you are on photography.
Thank you for your appreciation!
Your welcome and have a nice evening.
Thank you so much 😀
Congratulations. Today's #monomad first place is yours.
