hese last few months have been crucial in my photographic explorations of the city, for several reasons, but transport is the one that has affected me the most. However, I have been changing my routine in order to better adapt to these circumstances.

stos últimos tiempos han sido cruciales en mis incursiones fotográficas por la ciudad, por varios factores, pero de todos es el transporte el que más me ha golpeado; no obstante, he ido cambiando mi rutina en pos de adaptarme mejor a estas circunstancias.

The Journey / La Travesía

I leave home very early, at dawn, and cycle about 35 km to my sister's house, where my adventure begins.
Salgo de casa bien temprano, apenas amanece, y recorro unos 35 km en la bici hasta casa de mi hermana; allí entonces comienza mi aventura.

A New Gaze / Nueva Mirada

I'm tired, of course, but I've noticed that my photographic vision has become a little sharper as I try to make the most of every element, every moment along the way.

And I'm not the only one; many others follow my routine because there is no other choice and you have to make the most of what you have at hand.

Focus and Capture / Enfoque y Captura

Trying to focus on the images I have in my head and want to materialize, I don't let any opportunity pass me by; I stay there until I get my shot.
Tratando de enfocarme en las imágenes que tengo en mi cabeza y quiero materializar, cada oportunidad no la dejo pasar; allí estoy hasta que sale mi foto.

Perseverance / Perseverancia

Perseverance has its rewards, we say around here, and that's what I need to work on a little more; in the process, we're making progress and having a great time.
La constancia tiene su recompensa, decimos por aquí, y es en eso que debo trabajar un poco más; en el proceso vamos avanzando y pasándolo genial.

Urban Treasures / Tesoros Urbanos

It's incredible how many opportunities there are for photography on the streets of Havana; every corner, house, and balcony is a treasure, and I don't walk as much anymore, so I take advantage of every element I see around me.
Es increíble todo el abanico de oportunidades que hay en estas calles de La Habana para la fotografía; cada esquina, casa, balcón es un tesoro, y ya no camino tanto, por eso mismo, aprovecho cada elemento que veo a mi alrededor.

Engine of Life / Motor de Vida

That's the path I walk, between the necessary sacrifice and my passion for photography, a mixture that gives me life and helps me keep going.
Por ese camino transito, entre el sacrificio necesario y la pasión por la fotografía, una mezcla que me da vida y me ayuda a seguir adelante.

Thank you very much, that was also the photo I liked the most among all the others, there were children playing and with skates but it made me very sad to see this child there observing from a distance.
