Deranged Photography Contest: Street Photography in Koper

Photography Lovers

Street photography is tricky. There's a fine line between regular cityscape and street photography. According to my little research street photography is photography conducted for art or enquiry that features unmediated chance encounters and random incidents within public places." I interpret as a way to register our interactions in urban space, random interactions of people doing mundane stuff.

A few posts ago I posted a series of B&W photos taken in Koper (Slovenia). That day was special because everyone was outside enjoying the sun after days o rain. From that same archive I picked these four shots to illustrate what may be examples of street photography. The first pic is a 4x8 "Instagram" cut and I also did some Photoshop magic to remove unnecessary stuff. Can you spot what they are?

What nice street photographs! They convey a bit of peace, at least to me, plus the first photo has a very cool reflection.

Thanks! It's a mix of peace with relief after so many days of rain. If I'm not mistaken that was just a day before Christmas too
