Sleepy Time Time

Heeeyho Readers! Music and photography is today's motto

There's a space to relax upstairs. We keep our book collection, vinyls, amplifier and ready-to-play guitars — call it the no tv/social media zone. Or the bubble. Right on the corner there's a comfy recliner armchair, aka the dads chair; who dominates it, however, is our cat, Juma.

It's raining outside. Again. Autumn in southern Brazil started messy, which frustrated my plans to finish sanding another center table that I plan to pump the varnish. So, the only alternative is to stay in the bubble.

I kick in Cream's Fresh Cream album. Nothing beats the sound of vinyl, right? The only issue with vinyls is getting up and setting the needle just to skip a song; not as simple as pressing a button. On the positive side, producers had to craft an absolutely perfect song order to create the best experience possible.

Juma comes past me and jumps on her armchair. Yup, if a cat claims a space, who am I to go against it? No, no. Don't want to have my throat sliced while asleep. Anyways. I grab the camera to photograph her as she starts to yawn. It's so perfect: the song, the scene, the rain. This song is for her.

Cream, Sleep Time Time

I'm a sleepy time baby,
A sleepy time boy girl.
Work only maybe,
Life is a joy.

Asleep in the daytime,
Asleep at night.
Life is all playtime,
Working ain't right.

I have my Sunday,
That ain't no lie.
But on Monday morning
Comes my favorite cry.

We'll have a sleepy time time,
We'll have a sleepy time time,
We'll have a sleepy time time,
We'll have a sleepy time time.
Sleepy time time,
Sleepy time all the time.

It seemed like he was quite sleepy and his eye color wasn't good enough.
