It says, "Clean District and Happy Community"

To livelier, to beautify and to work together as a community. This ‘WAITING SHED BEAUTIFICATION’ contest is to encourage the locals or also called Brgy’nons to celebrate together in the preparation of fiesta or festive; Sometimes in “ARAW” or in english translation it’s like a birthday of a small village.

In doing so, it’s not just beautification of the waiting sheds that are being highlighted but also the cooperation of the locals or also called familiarly, “BAYANIHAN.”

Unity and Working together. Everyone in each district is working together in terms of arts and designs. The relationship of one another is strengthened.

Celebration. It gives happiness and colors that makes the Brgy. more livelier and joyful. It happens obviously once a year but the effects of it take longer; From the preparation and then the results.

In every contest of course there are rules and guidelines, and also let’s not forget the mechanics to determine who will be the winner.

This time, it’s about recyclable materials, examples of this are the plastic like bottles, etc. It’s about how to create an art of the plastic which can be used in placing it in a waiting shed. Some are using bottles and creating flowers, while some use the bottles for design. Actually there is more but I guess it’s better to see and understand.

Anyhow, the conclusion, beautification is an amazing activity that a Brgy. Council initiated. Even though it’s simple, it offers much to the locals and maybe to the tourists as well. Making the small village livelier and more happier. Maybe it will attract tourists or maybe just a pride of the Brgynons that their village is a happy one. It's quite tiring and expensive but there's always a prize to compensate the hardworking and expenses.

The competitiveness of everyone is showing out. This is a good way to build camaraderie among purok members plus showcase their hidden artistic talents. Every shed was equally created unique and pleasing to the eyes. Congratulations everyone for a job well done indeed!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
